 on march twenty-second, as the stars aligned and the cosmic dusts bonded, an entity was formed. born and raised in a small, relatively unknown, middle-of-nowhere town called new york city, david white [aka duber] knew that he was destined to be extraordinary. or some other pretentious bullshit that's supposed to make up this "about me" section.
with a passion for wasting an absurd amount of time on the computer, david knew that he always wanted to be a graphic designer. well, no, not really. it just happened by accident when he needed a work-study job in college. however, he had already spent numerous years in high school living his life as a starving artist, fooling around with programs such as adobe photoshop and the ever prestigious microsoft paint (man, those were the days). his volunteering days at the key club in high school led him to the position of co-editor for its monthly newsletter where he meticulously spent hours and hours (sometimes days) to perfect this esteemed publication.
all this knowledge and experience would not go to waste. once he entered college, he stumbled into the fast-paced, gloriously competitive world of marketing for the rutgers college campus centers.
after rutgers decided to merge everything and the kitchen sink in a restructuring effort, david found himself essentially switching to the same job. he currently works for rutgers student life marketing where he continues to perfect his skills and learn new techniques to add to his ever-expanding repertoire.
as college graduation rapidly approaches and everything in the world around him changes, there will always be one constant in his life—his hatred of capital letters. |
