--- site ---

— how'd you get your own site? —

through the fantabulous e-starr.

— why is it called "duberish?" —

because "duber" (pronounced doo-ber, not dub-ber is my nickname. and i thought duberish was a cute word... mmmkay?

— how'd you get that nickname? —

basically, in 9th grade, my friend elise liked to give nicknames people. she wanted to give me a nickname instead of calling me "kiddo" as she did for months. during an online conversation, i started jokingly suggesting really stupid nicknames and she was like "that's dumb" and then "that's even dumber." except she mistyped "dumber" as "duber." i started to make fun of her for it (since she rarely spelled things incorrectly while typing and always made fun of others for not spelling properly). as a result, she proclaimed that i would be called "duber" and everyone we both knew would start calling me "duber" by the end of the week. i doubted that she could pull it off but by the end of the week, everyone referred to me as duber.

— does "duber" mean anything? —

it doesn't mean anything. it has nothing to do with weed or dubies. honestly.

— what's with the layout? —

this is version 7.1 of duberish.net. it's known as syntax error. i was inspired to create the layout after the 79th academy awards. the poster for it included a picture of the oscar with famous movie lines in the background. i thought it look cool so i made my version of it with everyone else's stupidity (that and adobe photoshop cs2).

— syntax error? —

i had an epiphany that the only reason my website exists is because of the quotes. therefore, the quotes are priority.

— everything else —

i'm also using this site to occasionally blog about things (if i find it significant enough) along with keeping track of my own designs (hence the portfolio section) and writings.

— what's that thing on the lower left corner? —

it symbolizes duber. cuz you know it's a d and a b combined... or a penis with a mole.
